First, let me say that I'm not a photographer. I am merely an individual documenting crap by pressing a shutter release. I’ve been doing it for 11 years and I'm in no way an authority on anything other than ranting about the current happenings of the all-to-serious-and-posed world of photography.
Wicked. Lets talk about this site.
Think of this project as a gallery / film resource / blog / storefront / dev & scan resource. Look forward to nerdy developing charts and specs covering different films and cameras. This is a project to develop my knowledge and yours while hopefully reviving a dead local film community and adding to the worldwide push for the importance and return of that sweet, sweet analog grain. I like to write (I like to rant) and I take photos in a way that makes me feel good.
The selected works page...
… current projects and photos that are rotating in gallery or editorial format.
… will contain informational posts on crap like different film cameras, newly taken photos and the film stocks I used, experiments with film techniques, and any other crap I want to write about regarding film. There will be tags on each blog post which will categorize the type of post, so pay attention to those unless you want to scroll through everything.
Thats it for now. Go shoot some film. Tell me about it. Preferably in person at the coffee shop.
