D.C. to Boston / Jason Lee book signing / Leica M2

A while back, Courtney and I planned a trip to D.C. I had never been and was excited to get some museum time in. She also told me that she had a surprise which had something to do with the trip. In true fashion, she can't keep and secret and started giving me hints and I eventually guessed what the surprise was.

On the last day of the trip, she had booked a round trip flight from Baltimore to Boston, and during the middle of the day, had reserved a seat at the Leica Store of Boston for the A Pain View book singing and lecture by my favorite photographer, Jason Lee. World's best girlfriend award.

I brought with me a few rolls of Tri-x and Fuji Neopan Acros 100, but primarily brought Fuji Superia XTRA 400 because B&H had Superia on sale for $2.79 a roll. This was an attempt to practice shooting, developing, scanning, and editing color negative film which I have always steered away from.

Later on evening, we drove to Baltimore and stayed in a hotel by the airport. The next AM, we left from BMI and flew to Boston.

Thanks for giving the post a look. A Carolina's trip will be up soon.
